五社神社

五社神社は愛知県春日井市玉野町にある神社です。自然豊かで落ち着いた場所にあります。社伝は分かっていませんが、昔から地元の人々に愛され、今も行事では賑わいを見せています。

主な行事　

玉野の秋祭り

10月には玉野郷土芸能保存会の方が中心となって秋祭りを行います。玉野町の秋の風物詩となっています。

お祭りについて　　　

鉄砲隊の火縄銃空撃ち

12丁の火縄銃を使った迫力のある秋祭りの名物です。保存会の人と厄年の人が撃ちます。

警固隊（けいごたい）

杖を持った年行司を先頭に、棒の手を行う子供たちやお神楽の女の子たちが行列を作って歩きます。

お神楽

農民夫人の家から五社神社までの移動の間、小学校高学年女子が中心となって笛を吹きます。
夏休みや祭り前に保存会の方の指導のもと、一週間ほど練習します。笛の音色は祭りをさらに盛り上げています。

棒の手

棒ややりを使って演武をする伝統芸能の愛知県近辺での名称です。型は昔から変わらず、県の無形民俗文化財になっています。
保存会の大人だけでなく、小学生男子も参加します。お神楽、棒の手に参加した児童にはお菓子が配られます。

初詣

五社神社では大晦日の夜から中心で焚火がたかれ、参拝者に甘酒が配られます。また初詣の期間のみおみくじが置かれ、お札やお守りが売られます。

自然が豊かな場所にあり、神社の森にはツブラシイやヤマザクラ、アラカシなどの大木が生い茂っています。

 

歴史を感じさせる、自然の石でできた灯篭があります。

 

拝殿の表側と裏側には龍の彫り物があります。

 

不要になったご神札やお守りを入れるかごがあります。

五社大明神社

五社神社と同じく高蔵寺駅近くの神社です。社伝は明らかになっていません。明応二年（１４９３）の再建時の棟札があり、承応四年（１６５５）にも再建されたと伝えられています。
　明治四十五年に日吉社の祭神、大巳貴命（おおなむちのみこと）を、大正七年に高蔵社の祭神高皇産霊尊（たかむすびのみこと）、厳島社の祭神市杵島姫命（いつくしまひめのみこと）を合祇しました。

主な行事　　

輪くぐり

梅雨明けに行う、無事に盛夏が過ごせるようにという願いを込めた行事です。集まった人々は無病息災を願いながら茅でできた輪をくぐります。

五社大明神社大祭（秋祭り）

「道行（みちゆき）」が境内を廻ったり、笛や太鼓のお神楽の奉納をしたりするなど、賑やかなお祭りです。餅つきや風船釣りなどの催しも行われます。

その他　

山にあるため、階段が多く大変です。

 

拝殿の左右に一対の木彫りの狛犬があります。
昭和34年9月26日に伊勢湾台風で倒れた御神木を立川流宮大工梶田利一氏が彫り、昭和41年神殿両脇に奉献された神殿木製のものだと言われています。

 

絵馬をかけることができます。

 

五社大名神社のある高倉山では水晶などの鉱物がとれます。誰でも拾うことができ、家族で楽しむこともできます。

 

周辺には地名の由来となった高蔵寺があります。

まとめ

二つの神社の関係を含め、五社神社、五社大名神社ともに明らかになっていないことが多いです。しかし二つの神社は地域の方々の協力のもと、今もきれいに保たれ、行事や伝統は引き継がれています。
