上野天満宮　本殿・清明殿

上野天満宮について

 

学問の神で知られる菅原道真公が祀られているため、毎年受験シーズンには沢山の学生等が合格祈願に訪れます。
道真公の人生は過酷でしたが、その生き方は誠実で我々の生き方にも多くのヒントを与えてくれます。また道真公は死後なお冤罪をそそぎ名誉を回復したことから、災を除き福を招く『除災招福の神』として崇められるようにもなりました。
道真公は藤原氏の策略に遭い太宰府に左遷された事は有名ですが、梅の花をこよなく愛し、太宰府での死に際し京都の梅が、菅公を偲んで太宰府にむけて飛来したとされる「飛梅伝説」などが今に伝えられています。
それ以外にも、各地に数々の伝承が残り、庶民生活の中に天神信仰が親しみある存在として受入れられている事が伺えます。

清明殿

平成二十九年十月に新たに建てられました。
本殿の南西にあります。上野天満宮での結婚式や祭事は清明殿で行うことができます。

上野天満宮の由緒

およそ千年前の平安時代中期に陰陽師・安倍晴明の一族がこの地に住んだ折、菅原道真公を慕ってその神霊を祭ったのが上野天満宮の起源と伝えられています。

上野天満宮に奉られている菅原道真公が、九州の太宰府にて亡くなり、平成14年には1100年が過ぎました。こころざし半ばにして無実の罪を背負い京都から追いやられた天才学者の無念を償うため、菅原道真公の墓所の上に太宰府天満宮が作られました。

その後、100年弱した頃、同様に京都を追われた花山天皇に仕えていた陰陽学者の安倍晴明（920～1005）一族の一部が、名古屋の名古屋市千種区清明山に移り住みました。自らの境遇と照らして菅原道真公の心情を儚く思い、上野天満宮（現在地には、矢田川の氾濫から江戸時代に移動）を建て、菅原道真公を手厚く奉りました。そしてその思いがかない、安倍一族は一部を当地に残して無事に京都に戻ることが出来たそうです。当時の中国は、学問や政治の手本として、日本人のあこがれでした。菅原道真公も安倍晴明も日本の代表的な勉強家でしたから、彼らの理想は、時として日本の権力への批判とうつることがあったのでしょう。しかし「正義は勝つ。努力は必ずむくわれる」のですね。

菅原道真公について

平安時代中期の華やかな王朝時代に活躍した実在の人物です。父是善、祖父清公と代々文章博士となった学者の家柄でした。文学者で政治家でもあった彼は、貞観四(８６２)年文章生、同１９年文章博士となり、以後、宇多天皇の信任を得て、藤原氏の勢力を牽制するために重用されました。寛平三(８９１)年蔵人頭。同六年遣唐使に任命されましたが、大陸文化から得るところが少なくなったことや、航海の危険性を力説した彼の意見から遣唐使制度そのものが中止されました。

その後、権大納言を経て昌泰二(８９９)年右大臣となり、同四年に突如藤原時平の策謀から大宰府に左遷されてしまい、ついには延喜三年二月二十五日、無実をはらすことなく太宰府にて死去、享年五十九歳でした。編書に『日本三代実録』『類聚国史』、詩文書『菅家文草』『菅家後集』等があります。死後、天変地異や管公を陥れた者の怪死によって管公の冤罪がそそがれ、朝廷からは左遷の証書の破棄、さらには正一位太政大臣を追贈されるなどして無実が証明されました。

後世、管公の誠実な生涯が慕われ、天神さまとして全国に崇敬されています。

また、菅原道真公は学問の神様としても有名で受験シーズンにはたくさんの受験生が訪れ、合格祈願をします。

上野天満宮の牛をなでて合格祈願

上野天満宮には牛の石像と銅像があります。天満宮と名の付く多くの神社には牛の像があります。これは道真公の生まれ年が承和十二年六月二十五日、この日は乙丑（きのとうし）のためとか、道真公の遺体を運ぶ途中に牛車がどうしても動かなくなり、道真公の意志と解釈してその地に埋葬しました。その地が安楽寺となり、現在の太宰府天満宮となった事から、牛を道真公の使いとする説。天満自在天神という名前に由来する説。大自在天とは八本の腕と三つの眼を持ち白い牛に乗っていると云われ、このため天神様も牛とセットする考えです。

牛像の頭をなでると賢くなるとか体の悪いところをなでると良くなると言われています。上野天満宮の境内には二つの「なで牛」がいます。是非頭をなでてあげてください。

銅像のほうはたくさんの人になでられてきた感じがしましたね～。

名古屋高速2号東山線「春岡インター」より、北東へ約2.5キロ（参拝駐車場 40台）

※年末年始・受験シーズンの参拝は近隣道路を含め大変な混雑が発生します。せっかく参拝に来られても
お参りできなくてはもったいないので、できる限り公共交通機関・自転車などを利用してください。自転車は駐車場の脇に止めてあるのを見かけました。

うそ替え神事

うそかえ神事とは、“悪しき事は嘘となり　吉に取り替えんとの心にて「うそ替え」とゆう”　との言い伝えより、

一年中の「嘘言」「過ち」「悲しみ」「苦しみ」をそのうそ鳥に託し、天神さまの「まこと」と取り替え、清く明るく正しい誠の心に立ち還り、除災招福を祈願する行事です。

また、うそかえ神事が行われている日（1月15日・25日）限定の木彫りのうそ鳥がいただけます。(小：1000円・中：1200円・大：1500円）（1月14日まで予約も可能です）

1月15日は左義長祭も行われており、その日限定でぜんざいも振舞われます。

ご祈祷

上野天満宮は、受験合格祈願の他、厄除開運・安産祈願・初宮、七五三・商売繁盛・自動車祓い・健康祈願などのご祈祷を行なっています。
また、地鎮祭や竣工祭などの出張祭典から、年間を通して祈祷する各種講、遠方などでなかなか参拝できない方々にはFAXや郵送での祈祷依頼など、多くの方に天神さまの御加護を賜われるよう奉仕しています。

厄除開運

神職が直接祭所まで出向し祭典を勤めます。

団体祈祷

企業など団体での御祈祷（安全祈願・商売繁盛・諸業繁栄など）を行ってくれます。
団体の昇殿参拝は予約制となっています。

御祈祷をお受けになった後、団体のお名前とお願い事を記入した御札、絵馬、撤下品をお渡ししています。

各種講

一年間の心身健康・家内安全・諸願成就など天神さまの御加護をお祈りして、常日頃から感謝の気持ちで過ごしていただき、皆様が目標に邁進できるよう祈祷祈願を行ってくれます。年間通してお申し込みを受け付けています。

献酒講

毎月1日と15日に日頃の感謝と、より一層の御加護をお祈りする為に、皆様にかわり御神前にお酒をお供えし献酒講月次祈祷を奉仕してくれます。 御加入の方には御祈祷神符を授与し、御神前にお名前を掲示して、一年間献酒を行ってくれます。

天神講

お名前と願意を御本殿内の台帳に記載し一年間毎朝「開運招福」と「諸願成就」の祈願を奉仕してくれます。
